Sourdough (Raw) Pizza Dough

Experience the exceptional flavor and texture of our sourdough pizza dough. Crafted from a traditional sourdough starter, this dough offers a delightful tang and a perfectly chewy crust. Ideal for creating your favorite homemade pizzas, it brings an artisanal touch to every bite.

 

Makes roughly three 11" pizzas.

  • Baking/Topping Instructions

    Baking Instructions:

    • Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) and place a pizza stone or baking sheet inside to heat.
    • Shape the dough into your desired pizza size on a lightly floured surface.
    • Transfer the shaped dough onto a piece of parchment paper for easy handling.
    • Add your favorite toppings (see suggestions below).
    • Slide the parchment paper with the topped pizza onto the preheated pizza stone or baking sheet.
    • Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.
    • Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

    Topping Suggestions:

    • Classic Margherita: Tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, basil leaves, and a drizzle of olive oil.
    • Pepperoni: Tomato sauce, shredded mozzarella, and pepperoni slices.
    • Veggie Delight: Tomato sauce, bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, olives, and shredded mozzarella.
    • BBQ Chicken: BBQ sauce, cooked chicken, red onions, cilantro, and shredded cheddar cheese.
    • White Pizza: Ricotta cheese, garlic, spinach, and a sprinkle of Parmesan.
